As the air begins to feel a little more autumnal and the children are back to school it is back to business as usual. After last months rate rise, there has of course been much speculation about what will happen as we move through the rest of the year, especially in relation to the ongoing Brexit negotiations. As regular readers will know, we never speculate, we only give you the facts as they happen.
In today's September announcement, the Bank of England's (BoE) Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) have voted to maintain the rate at 0.75%. The vote was unanimous at 9-0.
